My Technics PR 370 now plays normal in the middle octaves, no sound in the upper octaves, and the lower octaves play but in a high pitch and out of tune by about a third. Panasonic who now own Technics will not supply a schematic diagram of the piano, and local technicians cannot repair without one due to its age. Any suggestions?
I have just bought a PR350 Technics digital piano and I was a little concerned about getting it repaired if it goes wrong. I saw on Google that there is a gentleman who specialises in Technics digital piano repairs - Mike Barden. www.mikebarden.com He doesn't recommend people giving it a go themselves due to the complexity of it. Maybe give him a try?
