Mend Peugeot Speedfight Help Knocking Noise

pegeout speedfight?

can some one please help me i have a pegeout speedfight when i start my bike aad just let it tick over there is a knocking noise can some1 please help and tell me what it might be and where the noise is coming from thankyou

Peugeot Peugeot Speedfight Vehicles, Motorcycles Help Knocking Noise

its most likely to be the variator,the small 3 black plastic sliders wear on the back of it and the sliding plate knocks against the back half or the variator.take it off and have a look at it you will soon see if its worn.
