citroen c5 heater problem?

my heater has stopped working there is no heat coming out, the motors starts then after a few seconds stops and the control display shuts down and the controls themselves have no effect

i assume that its climate control your car is fitted with ! if so then the chances are it will be the fan control module it is located at the side of the heater unit on the drivers side you will need t remove the shroud under the steering wheel to gain access the module has two plugs each plug has a thick red and black cable going into it and a couple of smaller cables and it is held in place with 2 small hexagon screws and is very easy to replace it is only available from main dealers and costs about 55 quid plus v a t
