Mend Second Work Everything

I bought the TV from a second hand shop the sound doesn't work everything ?

The TV's sound doesn't work the second hand shops says that the sound worked when they tested it. The picture is wonderful and everything else works it's just that. Is there something that I can do. I tinked with it not sure what I did.
