Lift the lid of the conditioner section of the drawer where it says "remove to clean" (finger in access hole and pull up). Rinse thoroughly with warm water. There is most likely a build-up of conditioner inside the tubular stub.
Additionally, rinse the base part of the drawer. This can be removed by pulling out the drawer upto the end-stop, then compressing the latch where it says "Push" and then pulling the draw out completely. Clean the smaller tubular stub of the conditioner drawer base section thoroughly.
Assembly just the above in reverse.
The conditioner draw bit needs to be cleaned from time to time. I found cotton-buds quite useful for this exercise.
Here is the physics:
The flow of the conditioner (on any make of washing machine) out the drawer compartment is reliant on a narrow gap beween the smaller tube at the base of the draw and the larger tube on the underside of the lid (using capillary action). If this gap gets clogged due to conditioner build-up, it will stop working.
Hope this gets you going again. I'll continue hunting for answers re. my Zanussi Aquacycle 1200, which is playing up as well. Maybe I should have invested in a Bosch in the first place.
