what's wrong with my lawnmower?

It starts but when I go to cut grass the primmer button sucks in and the lawnmower quits.

Replace the primer button. They go soft with age, and when they suck in, the mixture goes to pot, and the engine dies.

Cheap to fix, but fiddly to do.
