How do I get a stuck bottle top out of the hose?

I accidentaly hoovered up a bottle top and it is stuck firmly at the top, how can I get it out? Make is Morphy Richards 'pod' bagless vac.

if its stuck in the hose try using a hosepipe to push it back the way it came. Jab it a few times. try shaking it n jabbing at same time.
