Mend AEG 72630 Washing Machine Problem Drum

Help solving my AEG 72630 update washing m/c problem?

When i start a programme the m/c rinses the detergent into the drum then stops, and the display stops counting down.The m/c just sits there doing nothing.
If i then pump the water out using the pump out programme, it pumps the water out ok but it then stops on 1min and sits there doing nothing.
