i have a 1997 nissan micra and the stop lights have both gone. changed bulbs and fuses. still do not work. had to change the one headlight bulb too, this seems to be another repeating problem.

Were both the brake bulbs blown or did you replace without checking. You could check that your brake light switch is still working, its probably an adjustable plunger type somewhere above the brake pedal in the footwell, it may even have fallen out of its bracket. good luck.
