Mend Ford Focus Zetec 1.6 Running Sound

whats wrong with my ford focus and how much will it cost to fix?

It was running well till the other day it started to sound very cammy and it smells like its burning oil.
There is no oil in the water or water in the oil, its not over heating and still starts and drives.
I think its the head but not sure? its a 1.6 zetec

its sounds like it as piston slap , so it might of dropped a valve , if so u would probably be better getting a new head
