Every couple of days I am getting water lying under my salad bowls in the fridge section of my fridge freezer. There is a small drain hole at the back of the fridge which appears to be blocked. I defrosted the freezer and cleared this problem and water flowed to the plastic bowl at the rear. Now 2 weeks later the problem has returned. Can this problem be sorted?
My RFA70 F?F defrosted completely over night. The red warning light is on, Its not getting cold, and it has been on some time, Its 12 years old, is it terminal? Serial no.19100228,

Had the same problem , at the back of the fridge near the bottom there is a pladtic tray held on with two screws, this tray gets really gooey and full which stops the waste coming from the drain hole , we used a long plastic rod , it was very blocked up , would have to do this once a year at least

I've had the same problem with my RFA70, although I find the water in the drain pipe has usually frozen. It takes a right good rodding out to clear it, sometimes I have to use hot water to warm up the coat-hanger. It's a real pain. If the drain pipe was a little wider this probably wouldn't happen.

We stick a wire coat hanger down the derain hole and give it a jiggle. It clears it.
