how do i wire the arial from the box to the tv ??

Plug the Aerial wire into the Freeview Set Top Box. Take the supplied aerial patch cable and plug one ends into the TV and the other into tht Freeview Set Top Box. That will ensure that your TV can receive a signal (pass through).

However most Set Top Boxes (especially budget prices ones) can't supply the decoded Freeview signal from the Set Top Box and so need to be connected to the TV with a SCART Cable as well.
