Mend Falcon Rangemaster 1092 Ignition Cooker

how can I fix my broken hob ignitor switch?

I have a Falcon rangemaster Traditions 1092 - the hob ignition switch has failed. Apparently it has a spark generator powered by the mains, not battery. Can I fix it myself? The automatic oven ignition is still working OK, so the problem is just in the switch for the hobs/grill.
