how to change front drive shaft on mondeo 1999 reg estate?

hi there,
the drive sharft will not make the car pull to the side when the drivesharft has gone it makes a knocking noise when turning and rattling while driving. has the car hit a kerb or somthing at some time that would knock the tracking out or the bottom ball joint has gone. jack the car up on the side that it is pulling to get the wheel at the top and bottom and check for movement.check that out and ill tell you later how to change the driveshaft.
