IDEAL MINL C28?

My central heating is working fine but when I turn on the hot water tap the pilot light flares up stops then flares up again constantly doing this and the end result is water does not get hot

hot water sensor may be faulty. check the fault lights against the codes in the instruction book when the water runs cold to confirm.
