Vehicle Speed Sensor 1997 Ford Taurus 3.0l V6?

I am trying to replace the speed sensor on a 1997 Ford Taurus with a 3.0L V6. I can`t get it out of the mounting hole it is placed in.I have the bolt and the clamp off and tried to pull it out from the top. The plastic top of the sensor has broken off and I can not get the remainder out. Can`t seem to do much with a screwdriver as there is very little room. Is there any special tools available that could help? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
