Have an automatic Galaxy 2.3 ghia T Reg had a reconditioned fitted by Fords not quite 3 yrs ago and now playing up.Still get the rolling motion that autos do,and will change from 1st to 2nd then has probs goes in to 3rd with a bit of a jolt then 4th.Anyone have any ideas taking it on Monday but all round me being very negative really can't afford a new car does anyone have ideas as to what else it could be or does it sound like gear box gone AGAIN!!
The gearbox computer sits next to the battery on the inner wing. When it rains water can get to it and play havoc. The mod was a bit of a cover on the bonnet shut. If the box is definitely good, it probably is the computer. Codes are not present. To verify slot a known computer next to it, swap harness and then test drive. New computer over £400 .
