Ford Mondeo 02 Auto Gearbox problems?

I have an 02 mondeo ghia 2.0l auto, it drives fine until 4th gear then the battery light comes on and stalls this only happens for a split second then finds the gear and runs ok

This is not a fault I've come across, so if you re post with more info. Did you buy the car with the fault? Does it do it every time it goes to 4th? Is the battery and all leads good ? The gearbox computer has more current draw in 4th than 3rd and therefore cause the engine to die if battery duff.Hot/cold any difference etc
