how do i deristrict a gilera sc 125?

I got a gilera sc125 and it's deristricted out of its face I went to pristley pipes shop best bike av ever had keeps up with a ktm640 lc should get in touch with him

nope there is an inline fuse holder there somewhere normally always around the seat, put a 15 amp fuse in it, and hey presto your power valve willopen over 7000 rpms IT IS THERE!

on a serious note now the rev limiter is built into the cdi unit on some models like suzuki rg 12 f (black/white wire you can dis-connect it and it will do away with the rev limiter also the yamaha bi0wiz has a red/white wire that is seperate to all the other wires on the cdi thats the same thing.some chinses scooters have a switch on the cdi unit to unlimit the revs but its usually on the 50cc models.to be totally honest i am not sure what the set up is on your gilera,but i can tell you your mate who told you to change the fuse ....blah blah power bands is talking bollocks,a power band is just a range of revs that produce peak power and its only really noticable on a two stroke 125 ,yours being 2stroke will have a peak power range up at around 7000 rpm.call up a gilera dealer and see if they know how to do it i would suggest trying ve-uk they supply motorcycle parts too.A bigborekit /exhaust/carb and sprocket gear up will make it alot faster.i had an rs50 just over 90mph with some goodies fitted.

i have been told that to deristrict a gilera sc 125 all u have to do is remove the seat and find a fuse holder and put in a 7.5 amp fuse to activate the power bands but cant see a fuse holder can u help the rev limiter is connected

how are you trying to de restrict it?with the rev limiter being dis connected?
