Why won't my peugeot vivacity not spark? ?

i have a peugeout vivacity 50 its 2001 model it was running fine since i had it and the last 2 weeks it has been hard to start i have to really kick it like 6 times maybe more to start it and for some reason i cant get no more than 30 mph can any1 help me

well you need to get in contact with the people who sold it to you sarah,they have given you the wrong one it should just plug straight in and go.is it red plastci thats its made from?bb et4 does have immobiliser !lol has a chip in the brown key :) but they dont play up like the peugeots'thanks the lord'.

I brought it off ebay, & on there it said it fits all peugeots, think it was a company called scooter-assassins? But when we tried to fit it the plug on the cdi box didn't fit where the old one does? I don't know anything about mopeds to be honest. Is that any more help for u?

2 types of cdi fit it the square one and the oval one who did you buy one from?was it a non chipped cdi?or was it an original one from peugeot?the best one to get is from electrex.hi bb :)
