Mend Ford Galaxy Ghia Smoke

smokey ford galaxy?

i have 2001 ford galaxy ghia diesel, making execessive white smoke & smell when it starts, clears itself after few minutes, garage sayes nothing wrong & heat sensors all five working well,

this is normal and could be partly due to the aux heater fitted under the passenger nearside door kicking in with the low ambient temperature.Could also be early stages of a problem with said heater.Depends on how much it smokes??.
