Mend Peugeot Speedfight 100cc Day Started

immobaliser problam with peugeot speedfight?

i have a peugeot speedfight 100cc and i just want to know if the chip in my key has decoded its self because the over day it started up but wouldent rev up then just cut out so i cheked my spark and it was just a random one then i took my chip out of my key and turned on ignition. led flashed twice as normal but did not stay on and was still getting a spark but led did not stay on does this mean my chip needs reprograming please help.

if the bike just revs to about 2000 and wont go any more then the immobiliser has not got a signal from the chip anymore ,leave your chip in your key,try it in a different location and make sure the ariel is on the back of the switch and still plugged into the immobiliser,sometimes radio waves can interfere with the system as they use this to transfer the sigal from the chip so make sure its not next to a radio thats on when your trying it,i have programmed the systems before and had to turn off all radio equipment nearby !if still no lucjk then get hold of electrex they have a website and make new non chipped cdi's for this model.buy it and fit it this will fix your problem.

See previous answer on jet force, may be helpful. Not sure why you would take chip from your key. Have you another key? Or is this the only one
