Mend Road Angel Plus Reset Months Running

Cannot reset my Road Angel Plus?

I have not used my Road Angel Plus for several months now and have tried to switch it on and it will not come on - I have also tried to reset it but the needle just goes straight through and nothing there to push down on to. How do I get it up and running again.
