My Ford Focus 1.6LX speedo randomly drops to zero. Any cures?
The speedo drops to zero randomly-usually wihtin 5 minutes of starting the car/driving off. It remains zero for while, ocassionally returning to normal for a few minutes-then zero again.
Any suggestions? is it the computer board faulty? All other electrics work fine.

I need help with my ford focus 1.6 my speedo does not work at all it will only work if I drive fast or going on a moterway doing 70 mph it is really doing my head in please someone solve this problem for me, I've been told to change the clocks but I'm reading it's the sensor

Sounds like the wheel speed sensor is faulty (in the gearbox)
