Mend Daewoo 4150

Daewoo 4150 p. Intermittent finalising problem?

Using DVD+R disks, will record from VHS or external source ok but, when I then finalise the disk, it no longer recognises it and claims it is empty. Clearly not empty as before finalisation it would replay. Happens about 50% of the time.
