How do i replace a top lid switch on a Kenmore Wasing Machine Model # 110. 92272800 (Series 70)

Hello,

Remove the screws at the end of the console and flip it back. On some washers, the screws are hidden by plastic endcaps. Once that is done remove the 2 metal clips and also unplug the lid switch terminal. Finally, rock the whole cabinet forward as the lid switch is attached to the cabinet underneath. Hope this helps.
