Oil Worcester 25 32 hot water not constant?

Hello, my boiler gives hot water to the shower to start with and then runs out. The boiler is still showing water "On" and if I leave it for a while it seems to deliver water again. The shower has a Deva mixer valve and I wondered if that could have a fault?
Both the boiler and shower are new so I will get the plumber back but just wanted to know if I'm expecting too much from my system. Any thoughts appreciated.
