If you take the top off the machine and move the stitch width lever to straight sticth and centre needle position if you have a three position needle, you will see a screw on top of the stitch width lever which you can slacken off and move the needle bar to where you want it, for a manual try www.sewing-machine-manuals.com and click on relics.
