Mend Skyjet 125 Engine Carb Fuel

help pls?

my skyjet 125 broke a throttle cable> i changed it n it will not fire up now! and wen it does it will only idle! any revs cuts the engine! thers fuel all the way 2 the carb and a good spark. so im lost now pls help!!

have you got the cable in properly and is the slide in the right way around,the cut out at the bottom of the slide goes towards the air filter it will not run right unless its like this,aslo have you got the slide needle in properly if its lifted or dropped for some reason it will affect the mixture greatly and run either weak or rich.
