the last one i had that did make the same noise as you say was an old lady that thought the PIRs were making that same noise it turned out to be a carbon manoxide unit that she carried arround the house with her convinced her when i took the battery out ?????

I've been in this business more years than I care to remember & can honestly say that there is not an alarm system on the market that does what you are saying, even when faulty.
Look elsewhere, smoke detector?
