System disk on start up?

Do you have anything in the cdrom drive when it says that? Sounds like it is looking at the cdrom drive instead of the hard drive. If there is nothing in the cdrom drive then it will boot from the hard drive. You can go into the BIOS and check to see. Different manufacturers have you press different keys to get into it. Usually says when you first start the computer which key to press.
