Mend JCB 520-4 Engine Drive Shaft

jcb 520-4 farm special 1987?

Have problem with fuel injection pump how do i remove it... with reguards to engine timing. Also is it spline mounted or do i have to remove timing gear from drive shaft?

i think you have the 4236 perkins in yours there is a round cover with 4 bolts on the timeing cover take that off then undo the 3 bolts on the timeing gear and you can extract it if it helps i got a injection pump from digger doctor uk for my 520.4 1985 good luck
