hi your door lock is faulty!
this can also blow the main circuit board (mounted behind the fascia panel) if youre unlucky :(
if you are in a diy mood & fancy taking the circuit board off to have a look:
you will need to take the top of the machine off
with a small flat screwdriver remove the small covers on the sides of the top (they just prise out) to reveal a torx screw behind each cover.remove these screws then from the front of the machine give the top a hard tap towards the back of the machine to remove the lid.
remove the soap drawer & unscrew the 3 philips screws behind it then move the facia to the right to unhook it on the dial side.
now turn the dial to the off position & unclip the circuit board from the facia. you can remove the wire plugs before if you wish to make things less fiddly but be sure to make a note of where they go! ;)
now if you look at the circuit board at the bottom right hand corner (looking at the green side with the contacts at the bottom) there is a small black component with 3 legs on one side now if this looks damaged in any way it is blown this is usually accompanied by blown circuit track at the bottom of the board (right hand side) & 2 very small components next to the 3 legged one mentioned earlier.
now then a new circuit board could cost you around the £100 mark but these boards are repairable! i repair them quite often for £20 but im not sure if im allowed to put my contact number here! however there is a place on ebay that repair them but im not sure of the cost.
i think you will find them by typing "washing machine repair" in the ebay search bar.
hope its just the door lock
good luck!
