Mend Hotpoint BFI620 Lights Flash Manual

Can I fix a Hotpoint BFI620 "filter error"?

The 2nd & 4th green lights flash to show a "filter error" (according to the manual) every time I try and do a wash.

I've cleaned everything but can't get it to work.

Has anyone else had this problem & how did you resolve it?

Can I fix this myself or do I need to pay for an engineer?
