potterton profile 80 boiler pressure sensor pipe?

Hi The red plastic pipe is bent/constricted and blocked, the fan is working correctly. The boiler works if I put a different pipe on the sensor and blow into it. Is it a standard pipe like used on home brew etc or is it a special material. I assume the pipe being red is just conveniance so you dont swop the two pipes over.
Would not have worried about the pipe type if the aluminium tube it goes on was not warm. Which is why I presume the old pipe failed.
Will put some homebrew pipe on to restore the heating. Please advise if thaaats fine long term.
