how can fix my mercedes sprinter?

Mines a 1995 208 sprinter and mine won't turn of either.i looked in the Haynes manual and it said the electronic fuel cutof switch was to blame,I ordered 1 from merc over the phone and thy gave me a round valve thing so I located it to the right of the manifold and changed it ! My van still doesn't turn of and it lost half it's power( clearly the wrong part but don't no what they have gave me its round plastic with two holes either side and a piece of metel out the bottom which moves up and down and fit into the engine I think as there was black oil inside and not diesel as I imagined .can anyone help!?????????

I have a 1995 mercedes c280 we changed the throttle potentioneter you have to push the pedal down 1/2 way before it accelerates? Is there any kind of adjustments for this?

why will my mercedes sprinter not turn off with the key. i have replaced the engine stop. but still runs
