Tefal Pro Express - no steam!?

Tefal express compact The green light keeps flashing iron heats up but cannot get any steam to come out when I press button it just stopped please help was working fine then stopped steaming

Can anyone help please, i have a tefal pro express iron, the green button which flash then stop when iron ready, keeps flashing none stop. The iron does get hot but continue to steam until water is finish from reservior.....many thanx.

would sound like the pump failing due to scale build up or return spring in non return valve not making a good seal on inlet side of pump mechanism
Had similar problem with a phillips and replaced pump complete unit as was in hard water area and worked after that hoped this helps narrow down problem solving
