Mend Bernina Minimatic Sewing Machine Oil

How can I fix my Bernina Minimatic sewing machine? ?

I squirted oil into a hole at the back of the machine (what I thought was an oil hole must have been for an attachment). The machine went pop and I smelt burning.

I suppose the motor or circuit board gone; how can I get it going?

I'll take the side off and have a look, then re-post my findings.

Hello Clare,
Chances are it will be the suppressor that has poipped which is probably attached to the motor, you need to take the side off and take the details on the suppressor and get a new one, if I remember Bernina motors won't run without one unlike other machines.
