Mend Maytag Performance Dryer Tumble Issue

Auto dry feature on Maytag Performace Dryer does not heat?

The auto dry feature on my Maytag Performance dryer does not heat and dry clothes. The timed dry feature does. I have taken apart the dryer and cleaned every single piece of lint I can find, but the auto dry feature still does not work. Could it be I need to replace the control thermostat?

It sounds like you may either need to replace the auto dry circuit or timer, your troubleshooting diagram should be under the control panel. good luck.
