how to replace a drum bearing on a zanussi zwf1221w ?

my sister has a Zanussi washing machine..she and her son want to replace the drum bearing on a zanussi zwf1221w, has anyone got any tips advise,

take whole drum out and split it in half.if the tub is plastic welded in the centre you can't change the bearings and have to replace the whole drum complete

i just did a bearing on my beko machine yesterday and if its anything like that its ok to do just time consuming you'll basically need to stripping down machine and remove whole drum to do bearing.good luck by the way.
