How to stop the boot open warning light when boot is shut?

My boot open warning light is on and the buzzer keeps buzzing. the boot is shut. I first had this problem when we had really bad snow and freezing weather. It stopped butnow started again and wont go off. Vauxhall Vecta 1.8 Life 2006 model
