Shattered GHD casing?? Would these GHD repair centres be able to fix them??
Just before christmas my GHDs fell off a low shelf i have, (less than 50cm off the floor) just for my hair stuff. And of course I didnt check them, the exact thought that went through my mind was 'things DONT break for £100'. so i put them back, how very silly of me.
So i went to use them before christmas and the wire just popped off. along with two bits of plastic :( Basicly if you can imagine a chunk of plastic missing either side of the wire (top and bottom), but not the entire area around the wire, thats whats missing.
The wire will go back in and stay put, but of course not securely and it now crackles and they wont stay on, so ive left them alone, and i dont know what to do.
Would i be entitled to claim warranty? or should i just go to one of these repair places?? could they repair the back end casing? i know they say they fix electrical faults but what about the actual casing? WOuld GHD charge me to repair them?
I actualy love them to bits, my hair refuses to co operate with any other straightener ive ever tried. So even if they broke again, id want em fixed. Hope you can help me :)
