Mend Technics SU-G90 Help Amp Work

Need help with Technics SU-G90 amp?

When I power it on it will work fine.....for a while. Then all of a sudden it will switch to the radio, get very loud, and along with radio station output...there are horrid screaching noises and low toned hums. It loses all control of the system. The only thing I can do is shut it off. If I wait a while, it will work again....for a bit!

Any ideas anyone???
