take out ignition electrode
clean it with wire wool
replace electrode
make sure sensing tube from gas valve to combustion chamber NOT KINKED
reset boiler
try firing up
should now work

I have smae fault, forums suggest that the condesation pipe may have frozen (external plastic pipe) it suggests puouring hot but not boiling water the length of the pipe to defrost
