we had a power cut, the alarm went off. and would not accept a reset after we put our code in, it keeps ringing in and out constantly and its annoying not just us but the whole neighbourhood, its says in the manual that i need an anti code, please help?

Im reading your comments Acorn and smiling. I had a call tonight from a person in Ireland with an alarm problem. They hadnt had it serviced for over 15 years and wondered why the battery had gone faulty. Umm the lady said i thought the batteries are rechargeable, will it still be in warranty if its failed.
I appologise if you are they lady reading this by the way. Acorn is spot on, regardess to what you the general public have been told. The life span of a Yuasa sealed lead acid battery is between 3-5 years, If your panel is in a hot airing cupboard it will be less.
Gave me a smile tonight though.

I think the above is the reason it activated with the power cut.
Has the panel ever been serviced or had a new battery in the 8/9yrs it has been fitted, I doubt it.
The problem is your battery in the control panel, it should have been replaced at a max. of 5yrs.
Best to find an engineer I think.
