How can I fix my windsreen wiper (1997 Renault Megane)?

I have a 1997 Renault Megane. The windscreen wiper stopped working a few days ago. I've checked the fuse but it's okay. Do you know how I can fix the wiper?

I had my window wipers stop working but the motor was ok if you put your and under wher the bars are and push them together they might work (mine did)then spray with wd40 it appears the bar gets stiff in its joint and needs lubricant.
