the hinged door on my DMR-E75V panasonic dvr will not open?
I bought it brand new and It is a dvd recorder and a vhs player. the vhs side works but the dvd side will not open. I opened it with my hand and there appears to be two large white plastic hinges blocking the way. What could that be? it is a dmr-E75V panasonic dvr. Is it something left over from packing during assembly cause I cannot see how they would ever fit in there. They look like the letter L but laying on there backs with the small part of the letter about 1/2 an inch long.

Check your instruction booklet before use as some dvd or c.d players/recorders have transit devices fitted to prevent damage during transit. If the drawer is opened manually it may now be out of alignment. Only the open/close button should be used.
If no transit devices fitted then return the complete unit to the dealer for replacement.
