how do i remove the element from my hotpoint washer?

take the plastic panel off of the back of the machine remove the electrical connections from the heater element then remove the nut in the centre of the element. push the threaded bolt in then pull the element out. when fitting the new element a little tip is to coat the rubber seal with heat resistant sealer just to make sure it seals properly. refit the terminals and put the back on
