Mend Ferroli Modena Boiler Pressure Banging

How do Releasing some pressure in my Ferroli Modena combi boiler?

The pressure in my boiler is currently running above 4 bar and this has gone up over the last couple of weeks. the pipes are banging loudly now. I am getting someone out but in the mean time, how do i release some of the pressure?

4 bar is very excessive.
vent excess pressure out through a radiator air vent, ensure the filling loop is (closed off) disconnect one end if poss as it may be letting past.
