Try this:

Way 1:
1- Drivers door open.
2- ign, off.
3- radio off.
4- press and hold "6".
5- turn on radio.
6- hold "6" 30-40sec.
7- if nothing happens let it go.
8- try more times.

Way 2:
1. Drivers door open - leave open.
2. Ign. ON. - Use RED key only.
3. Radio ON.
4. Press and hold presets 1, 3 and 6.
5. Ign. OFF then back ON within 1 second.
6. Release presets 1, 3 and 6.
7. Radio OFF.
8. Ign. OFF.

Thanks for replying Jaydee, I have never done it myself so I didn't know if it would work. Perhaps Chas's option is the one to try as long as it's free.
I'll have to stop giving that advice out now. Can't remember where I read it but I definitely read it somewhere !!! Good luck with it.

H. THE HOLD DOWN BUTTON SIX BEFORE TURNING ON DOESN'T APPEAR TO WORK. TRIED IT WHEN IGNITION OFF, IGNITION TO FIRST 'CLICK' AND WITH IGNITION ON. NO JOY. JAYDEE

Jaydee, I'm not sure if this works or not. Probably not because nobody has reported back one way or the other. If you do try it I would be grateful if you could let me know if it has worked or not.

Before switching the radio on press button 6 and keep it pressed while you switch on.
Keep pressing button 1 until the first digit of the code is displayed,
then button 2 for the second digit,
then button 3 for the third digit,
then button 4 for the fourth digit,
then press button 5 and hold for a few seconds to enter and store the code.

Don't forget that if you get to "locked 13" it will then have to be recoded by a main dealer or a recoding service (cheaper option).

I hope this helps.
